Refund & Exchange Policy – Silk N Shines

At Silk N Shines, every outfit is made with care, precision, and love. Due to the nature of our luxury and custom-made garments, we maintain the following policy for refunds and exchanges:


1. No Refunds on Custom or Bridal Orders

We do not offer refunds on:

  • Custom-made outfits

  • Bridal wear

  • Made-to-order designs

Once an order is confirmed and production has begun, it cannot be cancelled or refunded.


2. Ready-to-Wear (RTW) Items

Refunds are not offered on ready-to-wear items unless:

  • The product is defective

  • You receive the wrong item

In such cases, you must contact us within 48 hours of receiving the parcel with clear photos and order details. We will review and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.


3. Exchanges

We currently do not offer exchanges due to limited stock and customization of items. We encourage all customers to carefully review size charts and product details before ordering.


4. Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive an item that is damaged or has a manufacturing fault:

  • Please email or WhatsApp us within 48 hours of delivery

  • Include order number, photos, and a brief explanation

  • If approved, we may offer a replacement, alteration, or partial refund (based on the issue)


5. Return Conditions (if accepted)

If a return is accepted (e.g., for a damaged or wrong item):

  • The item must be unused, unworn, and in its original condition with tags

  • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility (unless it’s our error)


6. Cancellations

Orders can only be cancelled within 24 hours of placement. After that, production begins and the order is locked in.


7. Color & Fabric Disclaimer

  • Slight color variations may occur due to photography or screen settings. These are not considered defects.

  • Handmade embellishments may vary slightly from piece to piece.
